2012 10K Marine Corps Marathon Run in Support of Injured Troops



On Sunday 28 October 2012, Emily and Depe, co-founders of .ORG Foundation run the Marine Corps Marathon 10K in an effort to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. The event, which was .ORG Foundation’s first charitable project took place at the National Mall in Washington DC and. We raised $502.02 from friends and family and donated 100% of the amount collected to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that offers an array of programs and services designed to help wounded service members heal and provide them with tools for economic empowerment. These programs and services are free to veterans suffering from injuries, wounds or illnesses related to their military service and incurred on or after September 11, 2001.
